I spent more than half my life at North High School: three years as a student and 32 years as a teacher, coach and athletic director.
Many great memories:
- Met my future wife (Laurie Propst).
- Made numerous lifelong friends.
- Learned a lot of life lessons while playing football, baseball, wrestling and golf.
- Taught and coached many great young Americans.
- Established the North Hall of Fame, All Activities Booster Club and the Legacy Patio.
- After retiring, with the help of a lot of North alumni, we established the Headed North Scholarship Fund to assist families in the North attendance area to help get more kids involved with after school activities. Check out our website.
